Disgusting Ghouls at it again

This story looks like the classic example of how insidious the disgusting Ghouls of the anti vax cult are. A child dies, seemingly from a bacterial infection and they get into the heads of the grieving family and flood them with faux sympathy and fake support until the family changes their story to suit the anti vax narrative.

Then the child becomes the latest poster child for the anti vax cult. They needed a new one after driving Colton to kill himself by belittling him on the net.

Once the next dead child comes along they will dump this family like they have so many before them.

My challenge to this family is ..

LETS SEE THE PROOF.

Not an unproven story, not the rantings and ravings of the anti vax cult .. but some actual evidence proving the link to the vaccine as this boy died of something that can be caused by a simple sore throat, so to blame the vaccine without evidence and trying to convince others to set their kids up for a long, drawn out death to cervical cancer without proof is a really sick act.

Out of respect for the children we have removed their images.

This father gave approval for this discussion, but turned abusive when asked for evidence linking his sons death to the vaccine.  We sought evidence as he stated very clearly on a number of occasions that he was happy to have the discussion.   As it turns out, that may have been only for those within the anti vax cult that have flooded his page with their faux support and attention.

It comes as no surprise that a quick Google search of this story leads us to anti vax blog after anti vax blog.   This should ring alarm bells with anyone researching this story.  It is also no surprise to see that he is not a concerned parent, but rather an anti vaxer, with active membership at the following anti vax FB pages, none of which are valid or honest.

News articles state that he died of ADEM – Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis which the father claims is a ‘side effect of Gardasil as listed on the packet insert’.  Except that it’s not.  It is listed on the packet insert under a section that clearly states:

The following adverse events have been spontaneously reported during post-approval use of GARDASIL. Because these events were reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is not possible to reliably estimate their frequency or to establish a causal relationship to vaccine exposure.

So no, it is not listed on the Gardasil packet insert as a side effect of Gardasil as claimed by the father.

There is much discussion about ADEM and what causes it.   For the most part it is related to a viral or bacterial infection.   While it is noted that it has been seen post vaccination, there has not been definitively proven, so it’s highly unlikely that any neurologist admitted it was the vaccine.

The following are the potential causes of ADEM.  Note that it is much more likely to end up with it from a bacterial or viral infection.

  • Exposure to vaccines: The only vaccine proven related to ADEM is the Semple form of the rabies vaccine, but hepatitis Bpertussisdiphtheria, measles, mumps, rubella, pneumococcusvaricella, influenza, Japanese encephalitis, and polio vaccines have all been implicated. The majority of the studies that correlate vaccination with ADEM onset use small samples or case studies.Large scale epidemiological studies (e.g., of MMR vaccine or smallpox vaccine) do not show increased risk of ADEM following vaccination.

This information shows that Gardasil is not identified as a potential risk factor for this condition.   So realistically, the fathers dishonest claim of it being listed as a side effect of the disease, his refusal to prove the claim and the fathers activity on known anti vax hotbeds all lead to the fact that evidence needs to be supplied before this story can be believed.

I am often amazed at how many anti vaxers get on the internet and claim to want to ‘warn’ everyone of the ‘dangers’ of vaccines  by telling very compelling stories, as the loss of a child is tragic, but then they refuse to prove the claims.  Surely if a person was telling the truth and were honestly interested in warning others, the evidence would absolutely be the first thing they were sharing.

As an aside, he seems charming as an individual.

I had a friend post this online to see what the anti vaxers would do and well wouldn’t you know it.  Abuse, threats, expletive filled posts, flooding of anti vax BS dishonestly presented as evidence.  There is no longer any doubt in my mind that this claim is indeed a false one.   As was proven today.
Thanks for the threats anti vaxers, nothing proves you are small minded, fucked up cowards than the throwing around of threats.   Be aware of your own online footprint though as at least 3 of you who threw threats out have their home addressed clearly posted online, I may add them here in the future.

  1. Should have posted my comments but then again why would you as they don’t fit your narrative of how anti vaxxers are
Elijah shouldn’t have to be beraded. He lost his son 4 months ago and was a pro vaxxer before that. This whole ordeal is just so sad.

    1. It has to be worthy of sharing. You anti vaxers seem to think that everything you say is of relevance when in reality it’s not. I read the whole discussion to see if he would prove his claim, and there was not one single piece of viable evidence presented in the whole discussion.

I agree, the behavior of the anti vaxers on Matts page was a sad indication of how nasty, vile, spiteful and quite frankly disgusting these shit stains tend to be.
